Basic Fire Fighting Training in Saudi Arabia
Fire spreads faster than most people think, and Saudi Arabia sees hundreds of fire deaths every year.
Most of them are preventable. This course teaches your team to stop a small fire before it
becomes a disaster, and to get everyone out safely if it does.
Every workplace faces the risk of fire, and the first few seconds decide whether it stays small or turns deadly. A worker who knows how to grab the right extinguisher and use it correctly can save lives, jobs, and the whole building. Basic fire fighting training gives your team that skill, taught in plain language anyone can follow, whatever their job.
On this course, your team learns how fire starts and spreads, how to pick and use the right fire extinguisher, and what to do the moment a fire breaks out. It is accredited by the TVTC, so your certificate is recognised across Saudi Arabia. It is built for workers, supervisors, security staff, and anyone who may need to act when a fire starts.
Companies across the Kingdom come to Future Institute because we teach with real, hands on practice, not just slides, in Arabic, English, Hindi, or Urdu. Our trainers have handled real fire situations, so they know what works. Whether you learn at our centre, at your site, or online, your team leaves ready to act with confidence.

What Is Basic Fire Fighting Training?
Basic fire fighting training is a short course that teaches ordinary workers how to prevent fires and safely put out small ones before they spread. It covers how fire behaves, the different types of fire, how to use a fire extinguisher, and when to fight a fire versus when to get out and call for help.
It is the first level of fire safety, and it suits everyone in a workplace, not just the safety team.

Why Fire Fighting Training Is Important
A fire at work can cost lives, destroy a business, and shut a site for months. Most serious fires start small and could have been stopped in the first minute, if someone nearby knew what to do.
Training gives your team that knowledge and the confidence to act fast instead of freezing. It also helps your company meet Saudi Civil Defence safety rules and keeps your insurance and audits in order.
Understanding the Fire Triangle
Every fire needs three things to burn: fuel, heat, and oxygen. Together these make the fire triangle. Take any one away, and the fire goes out. This simple idea is the key to all fire fighting: cooling removes heat, smothering removes oxygen, and clearing materials removes fuel. Your team learns to use this in practice with the right extinguisher for each situation.

The Classes of Fire and the Right Extinguisher
Using the wrong extinguisher can make a fire worse, so this course teaches your team to match the extinguisher to the fire:
Fire class | What is burning | Right extinguisher |
Class A | Wood, paper, cloth | Water or foam |
Class B | Petrol, oil, paint | Foam or dry powder |
Class C | Flammable gases | Dry powder |
Class D | Metals | Special dry powder |
Class F | Cooking oils and fats | Wet chemical |
Electrical | Live equipment | CO2 or dry powder |

Fire Fighting or Fire Warden: What Is the Difference?
The two roles work together but are not the same. Basic fire fighting teaches you to actually put out a small fire with an extinguisher. A fire warden leads the evacuation and makes sure everyone gets out safely. Many workplaces train staff in both, so their team can fight a small fire and clear the building if it grows.
