Hazcom Train the Trainer Course in Saudi Arabia
Accredited under Future Institute and delivered across Saudi Arabia.
Most SABIC and Aramco sites will not let a contractor’s staff near chemicals without proof of hazard communication training, and every new hire needs it. This course certifies your own staff to teach hazcom safety training, so trained instructors are always on hand.
Your trainer learns chemical classification, safety data sheets, and correct labelling, along with how to plan, deliver, and assess a training session. The course is accredited by Future Institute, and it suits safety officers, HSE staff, and chemical handlers being developed into certified in house trainers.

What Is Hazcom Train the Trainer?
Hazcom Train the Trainer is a course that certifies an experienced person to teach hazard communication training to others. It covers how to classify chemical hazards, read a Safety Data Sheet, and understand container labels, then adds the teaching skills to pass that knowledge on through hands on demonstration and assessment.
GHS Classification and Labels
The Globally Harmonized System, known as GHS, is the international standard behind chemical classification
and labelling, and it is the core of what a hazcom trainer must teach:
Element | What it tells the reader |
|---|---|
Pictogram | A picture symbol showing the type of hazard, such as flame or skull |
Signal word | “Danger” for severe hazards, “Warning” for less severe ones |
Hazard statement | A short line describing the specific danger, such as “causes skin burns” |
Precautionary statement | What to do to stay safe, such as wear gloves or avoid heat |
Your trainer learns to read and teach every part of a label, so no chemical goes unlabelled or misunderstood on site.
Reading a Safety Data Sheet
A Safety Data Sheet, or SDS, gives full detail on a chemical beyond what fits on a label, including its health effects, safe handling, and what to do in an emergency. Your trainer learns to find and explain the key sections quickly, so they can teach others to check an SDS before working with an unfamiliar substance.

What You Will Learn
This train the trainer programme builds both hazard communication training knowledge and teaching ability:
- Classifying chemical hazards under the GHS system
- Reading and explaining GHS labels and pictograms
- Finding and using the key sections of a Safety Data Sheet
- Safe storage, handling, and emergency response for hazardous chemicals
- Planning and delivering an engaging hazcom safety training session
- Assessing a learner’s knowledge and practical readiness
Who Should Attend
