Scaffolding Safety Train the Trainer Course in Saudi Arabia
Accredited under Future Institute and delivered across Saudi Arabia.
Most scaffolds that fail don’t collapse from bad materials. They fail because whoever erected them skipped a step, or whoever tagged them as safe wasn’t actually qualified to say so. This course certifies your own staff to teach scaffolding safety properly, so the person signing off on a scaffold at your site knows exactly what they’re checking.
Your trainer learns how a scaffold gets erected correctly, how to inspect one before it’s used, and how the tag system works, along with how to plan and deliver that knowledge to someone who’s never touched a scaffold pole. Scaffolding work over 2 metres in height is generally the point where formal training becomes non negotiable in Saudi Arabia, which is exactly the threshold this course is built around.

What This Course Covers
A scaffold is only as safe as the person who built it and the person who last inspected it. This course covers both roles.
On the erection side, your trainer learns the components that make up a proper scaffold, from sole plates and standards to ledgers, braces, and platform boards, and how they fit together to hold weight safely. They also learn the common assembly mistakes that show up on real sites: missing braces, overloaded platforms, gaps in guardrails.
On the inspection side, the course covers when a scaffold actually needs checking. Before it’s used for the first time, before every shift, and after any weather event that could have shifted or weakened it. It also covers the tag system used across Saudi sites: a green tag means the scaffold has passed inspection and is safe to climb, a red tag or no tag at all means it hasn’t and shouldn’t be used. Your trainer learns to apply this correctly, and to teach others why a missing tag is not a technicality.
What You Will Learn to Teach
- Scaffold components and how a correctly assembled structure holds together
- Common erection mistakes and how to spot them before they become a hazard
- The full inspection sequence, from base to platform to guardrails
- The scaffold tag system and when a structure must be re-inspected
- Planning and running a training session that moves from explanation to a real scaffold
- Assessing whether a learner can actually apply the inspection sequence, not just recite it
Who Should Attend
This suits site supervisors, safety officers, and experienced scaffolders who already know the work and are being developed into someone who can teach it. It fits companies running frequent scaffold work who want a trusted person on site able to train new erectors and inspectors, rather than booking outside training every time the crew grows.
Future Institute Accreditation
This course is delivered under Future Institute’s own accreditation, built around the standards that Saudi’s Technical and Vocational Training Corporation expects for scaffolding competence, rather than a foreign code your team will never be tested against locally. Your certified trainer receives a QR verifiable certificate that a site manager or auditor can confirm without a phone call.
